VISITOR (2023-in progress)The project "Visitor" began with the idea that old Polaroid cameras could capture ghosts. During power outages, I picked up my camera and started photographing my home, where darkness brought my deepest imaginings to life. Through the lens, I saw countless monsters and ghosts, creations of my own mind.

This project explores the mysterious interplay between fear and imagination. Fear is born from the unknown, while imagination gives it shape—turning shadows into monsters and silence into whispers. In the dark, every sound or movement becomes a catalyst for our inner world, where the line between reality and fantasy blurs.

"Visitor" examines how fears shape our consciousness and connect to our deep-seated need to explain the unexplainable. Here, darkness is not just the absence of light but a metaphor for our uncharted inner territories. Imagination, fueled by fear, becomes a tool for self-discovery.

The project is not only about the ghosts I captured through the camera. It is also about the ghosts we all carry within us—the images shaped by our fears, doubts, and desires. "Visitor" invites viewers to reflect: are our fears reflections of the real world, or are they merely the product of our imagination's intricate game?
