THE STORY OF MY DEATHS (2023 - IN PROGRESS)
The project is based on my real stories and archival analog photos that I scanned and used for digital collage.
This project is about a cross-section of time in the South of Ukraine in the Soviet and post-Soviet period, about me and my family. At that time in our society there were thousands of such stories and not all of them ended well, they seemed absolutely normal, part of our life, now they look horrifying and unexplainable. Stories tell about the problems in the society of that time – availability of weapons, drunkenness, state of medicine, negligent attitude to child rearing and others.
Past experiences and experiences influence each person’s personal evolution. Past events shape one’s personality, way of thinking and worldview.
