// PROJECT: "SCARS" / CONCEPT_README.txt
White stars are the cities of Ukraine.
Red triangles are the launch points.
The frame is an indicator: it is white when all is quiet, but turns red and pulses when an air attack siren sounds in Ukraine.
Every colored thread is not an abstraction. It was either a threat to life, or a human life already taken.
// This is a living witness, a canvas that breathes pain.
In the "DNA" of this work, I have embedded the memory of 110,000 "scars"—one for every missile, guided aerial bomb, or drone that has flown towards Ukraine since the beginning of the full-scale invasion. But the work is not finished.
It continues to write itself.
});
// It is connected 24/7 to air attack servers and carves thousands of new scars onto itself each month.{
I taught this code to distinguish two types of pain: chronic and acute.
Chronic pain is the "rain" of guided bombs hitting the front line. It is the mechanical rhythm of suffering.
Acute pain is the "Catalyst."
};
// When a new siren sounds in any region, the code registers it and draws new "live" red scars, which after 24 hours are etched into the canvas as colored threads.
// Herein lies the terrible beauty of this work.
As Goya once used engraving to mechanically "imprint" the horrors of war, so I use code, having created a "matrix"—a complex "Catalyst"
algorithm based on a deep statistical analysis of real attacks: their trajectories, weapon types, and the horrific mathematics of probability.
// It is a cold, impartial witness. It has no emotions; it simply documents. And in this merciless, objective truth,
there is the beauty of a fact, transformed into an abstract canvas.
const The artwork itself is this code, living eternally on a server.
// And it will only be considered complete when the air raid alert server falls silent and the Scars painting is fixed Forever .
